Monkey's tooth had been loose for a long time, but it surprised me when the one next to it fell out first.
Sure enough the tooth fell out the next dayIt's so cute to listen to her say words with the s or sh sound.
We also ran a race before school started. Michelangelo and I ran a 5k race with two of my sister in laws, and Monkey and Bug ran a kid's race.
Here we are at the beginning of the race.
And we are off.
And just to be safe I'm only putting up a picture of me running.
All four of us did it in about 32 1/2 minutes. Pretty good for our first try!
Then the girls had their race for 6 and under where we ran into some friends of ours who have a daughter Monkey's age.
Definitely not the most ideal place you want to run into friends. I think I would rank it right up there with the swimming pool, but what's a girl to do? At least they still love me.
Monkey and A ran together.
Bug started running but then got intimidated by all the big kids. Luckily she has a sweet Daddy who ran by her side.
We Finished!

Wow! Looks like a fun time. :) You all look great, too! Tell Monkey congrats on her lost teeth. I can't wait to see (and hear) her!
I was so bummed I had to miss the big run. It sounds like you all did amazing. That is something you have bragging rights to :) Monkey looks so cute with missing her two front teeth. Love you!
Way to go on your race! I think you all look like super cute runners, but I love the picture of bug with your mom in the background the best, looks like such a fun, fun race!
Way to go! I knew you could do it! Now we need to run a 5k together sometime! love ya!
Congrats on your race! I've been contemplating running in a race, but have not ran more than 2 miles at one time without stopping.....time will tell! I enjoyed reading your blog!
