Tuesday we dissected owl pellets in class. My friend brought her camera, so I thought I would share.
Picking out the bones
We were supposed to put the skeleton back together. There were lots of little pieces.
And it smelled bad! My friend was inventive enough to find a way to push through the smell. I love S laughing in the background.
Wouldn't your kids love to do this?

It looks interesting despite the smell! I wish I could go back to a classroom. My schedule only allows for online classes. FUn!
I agree it could be fun despite the smell. Also you might want to use something better than toothpicks :)
I agree. most of us were wondering where the gloves and tweezers were.
That's awesome. And yes, I think all kids would love to do this. My mom totally did this with the 9 year old scouts -- they LOVED it! I'm a little jealous. . . =)
That looks like so much fun! Maybe you should bring a little painter's mask next time to help the smell ;) hahaha.
and I just noticed that you're wearing the shirt I got you for Christmas... it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)
