2 1/2 weeks!

I can't believe I only have 2 and a half weeks left. I'm having so many mixed emotions as the due date looms closer. Excited? Yes. I can't wait to hold this baby in my arms. Nervous? Oh yeah.
"What?" you say.
With my first baby I was nervous. I was nervous about labor, and being a mom. Now with my third I'm even less ready for this baby to come then I was when Monkey surprised me by coming three weeks early. I can't seem to handle two kids at the moment. How in the world am I going to handle three? What was I thinking? With Mr. Call going to school in Ogden and our only car is here, will I have to go through with this without him? He is my rock. When he's there, I know everything will be ok. I know millions of women have done this without their husbands there, but I don't want to....

In the meantime we had UEA weekend. It was great! Along with conference, (which was so uplifting and helpful to me), Mr. Call didn't have class or any landscaping to do so we got spend all four days with him.
We did lots of cleaning. There's still more to do but hey at least my room is ready for the baby to hang out in.
We took the girls to an awesome children's museum for their non-spooky Haunted Forest event.
I highly recommend going. The Treehouse Museum in Ogden isn't so huge you get lost, but they have used their space so creatively. Mr Call and I enjoy being there with the girls. I love this chess set!As part of the haunted forest the kids went to different stations to look for lost sheep for little Bo Peep, (can you find the sheep?). At each stop a character told their story to the kids and gave them a treat.
But usually the treats weren't sugary. Which I loved. The kids got coloring books, animal masks, maraca's, wooden flutes, etc. My girls absolutely loved it.
The last station was an interactive play which was a lot of fun. There weren't any scary parts the whole time we were there, it was perfect for my 5 and 2 year old.
So if your interested in going they have tickets online you can buy just google Treehouse Museum. Tours start every half an hour after 4 on Friday and Saturday, and it takes an hour to go through the entire thing. The groups are small so you don't have to worry about losing your kid, and it is a blast! I thought it was 4 bucks a kid well spent, (it would be 6 if your not a member.) I know it's a shameful plug, but I wanted to share.
Side note: Leave the wings at home. They made it difficult for this shy ladybug to get to the front of the group. Luckily she had a wonderful butterfly, and a Prince Charming that watched out for her.
Ohh, I love my cute girls.

I'm back!!!!!!!!

We got our internet back again.
Two things I have learned from this experience:
1. I can survive without the internet.
2. I don't like it. Not one bit.
  • I miss being able to check on my finances, look up symptoms on WebMD or finding out what spider I just saw.
  • I miss being able to find out the fun activities happening in the area and finding good deals on craigslist, or KSL classifieds.
  • I missed being able to put up pictures of my kids and explaining what was happening, because for me blogging is my way of scrapbooking. When I didn't have access to my blog I was so unmotivated to bring my camera along to events and then I would miss all those cute moments, which made my heart ache at times. But what was I going to do with those pictures? At this point getting out all of my scrapbook stuff just to be interrupted by darling "helpers" is not exactly my idea of fun. Now I will do my best to be better at posting more regularly.
  • But most of all. I missed you my friends. I missed keeping up with what was going on in your lives, being able to email and not feel guilty about the time I was taking up on someone else's computer to do so, that feeling of friendship that comes from finding out what you been up to and not feeling like I'm missing out on everything. Last night when we got the internet up and running it felt so refreshing to be able to visit with friends, read notes from you, and see pictures of you and yours electronically.
This time around I will be better at doing other things first, but it is so nice to know that I can be in contact with you with the immediacy that the internet provides. Yeah for technology!

Two teeth and a belly.

Monkey lost two teeth almost within a week of each other. The first on 29th of Aug. and the second on labor day. And I wasn't there for either of them. I think that is her good luck charm. Daddy got to deal with the excitement both times, (lucky guy). The tooth fairy came and left a present and a note for the first tooth. Monkey was more excited about the note than anything. She's pretty excited about her new smile and she got to be on the tooth chart in her kindergarten class.
And here is me at 33 weeks. I look like I have a basketball under my shirt.
Monkey took the pictures and she wanted one of me and Bug. How I love my girls.

Sister's wedding! Updated, lots of pictures

We had a really busy week, with Mr. Call and Monkey starting school, my sister getting married, there was a lot of excitement to be had.
My battery was being difficult on the day of the wedding, so for now these are the only pictures I have. I've added more! Some of you have seen these already from my Dad's email, but some haven't.
Here are the good looking couple.
Here they are coming out of the temple.(Me and my siblings)
Bug was fascinated with everything wedding. She loved her dress, the bride's dress, the jewelry, the cake, the flowers. She was in awe the entire day. She is such a girly girl. Now if she would just stop cutting her bangs, momma could have even more fun dressing her up.
Tossing the bouquet...
Monkey wanted to catch it so bad! She even had great uncle Richard hold her up so she could have a better chance. Unfortunately things didn't quite go according to her plan.
Monkey was also the flower girl which in our family means she gets to pass out the napkins. :)
She did such a great job, even later that night and the next day she made it her official responsibility. Just don't mess up the napkins or try to fix them unless your name is Amylyn. She also wanted to help with everything!
I love this picture of Monkey. She so wanted to be coloring butterflies not standing still for pictures. :)
The colors were cranberry, burnt orange and marigold. As you can see from the bouquet, it turned out beautifully. We also let off butterflies. It was pretty neat to see them flying around and some even stuck around before taking off.

Now for the garter It was a dogpile on top of my poor younger cousin.
Now for some family pictures.
I got to sit at the book.
My beautiful sisters. Yeah, I know I'm really short.
My family.
It was a great day and to top it off BYU beat the Sooners. Go COUGARS!

Our first week of school

Well we finished our first week with Monkey as a kindergartner. She has been so excited and loving it! Here's my cute girl.
I couldn't get her eyes open. ;)
As we got to the school the kids had to line up. Bug insisted on lining up behind her sister. And every day has asked if she could go to kindergarten too.
And off she goes, it's the highlight of her day.
